Rogersdale wins CCI* at Aldon |

At Aldon, the final event of the season, Rogersdale (by Welton Ambassador) won the CCI*.
Rogersdale is ridden by Ruth Friend and still owned by his breeder Sue Kerfoot.
Our own horse Welton Rodrigo was also 7th in the same class ( out of 100 starters )........SO nearly came 2nd, but had the very last show jump down !! Welton Rodrigo is our last by Crackerjack and ridden by Matthew Wright. |
The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) presented Sam Barr, founder of the Welton Stud based in Hartpury, Gloucestershire, with a BEF Medal of Honour during the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials on Friday 4th September. The medal recognises the outstanding achievement and contribution that Sam has made to the International Equestrian World.

Double Cracker won an Intermediate section at Great Witchingham on July 18th. A few days before Welton Rodrigo also won a Novice section at Upton House. Both are competing at Knaptoft this weekend. |
